Yes we have multiple R7 part numbers available (including US and California) as well as RaceTeam files with Enginebrake Control (via the idle stepper motor), Extended Data, and Pit Road Limiter.. is the listing not clear? I will go ahead and add a c…

1) ECO indicator really means nothing except you are in a region of a TPS vs RPM map that reads '1' instead of '0'... its really just a gimmick. 2) Stock O2 feedback similarly has many range maps making sure that temperature, TPS, Manifold pressure,…

You are almost certainly not screwed, but trouble codes can sometimes be tricky.. does the code remain if you use a standard OBD scanner to reset the Codes?

Im sorry you are expeirenceing a problem with your other tuning solution. unfortunately, we cant help you with their products. On our end, there is nothing that would prevent you from overwriting your ECU with any other solution. I suggest you reach…

I depends on how much time you want to invest in your tune. You absolutely can make gains of maybe a percent or two by getting the cylinder specific stuff just right but it takes quite a bit of time to do and many tuning shops cant spend that kind o…

kento made a mistake above. it seems you read out an undefined ECU image. please email the file to sales@ftecu.com so we can get it defined for you.

Following up to our phone discussion, using the 32920-41G60 file seemed to have solved the issue here. we will be looking to reproduce and solve your issue with the 32920-41G10 file shortly.

Yes, we are working on Adding R7 specific instructions soon but for now please just use the Fz-07 instructions from the document center as you described.

Your ECU type (11+ GSXR750) always supports reading even if the ECU has been license to someone else.. Most of the time there is a simple wiring issue preventing Reads/Writes especially if you are using a bike harness, which can be tricky to get pin…

Hello, Im sorry to hear you are going to another ECU tuning solution. Where possible we prevent unauthorized reading and copying of ECU tunes however there is nothing on our end that would prevent you from overwriting the tune in your ECU. best of l…

Please clarify... I just chacked your account and all of your licenses are in a good usable state.. How would I go about reproducing this issue in a controlled environment?

what is your code? On the GSXR you can jump the end two wires on your SDS connector and the "c code" will display on the dash.

ActiveTune will run and correct in real time provided 1) ActiveTune is enabled in the file 2) Self checks pass 3) Live Correction mode is enabled The codes simply mean that the sensor is out of its expected range, which is normal considering the s…

This error is typical of an ECU that is not fully powered can you please check your power supply?
-
This can happen if the pin positions of the harness are not correct. We caught a few harnesses that were made incorrectly and I was told the entire batch had been recalled but with recent staffing issues it's possible that didnt happen. this does n…

What is your specific part number? What file do you have open when you are attempting to read? What specific error messages are you getting (only write errors are logged on our end)
-
Usually this would already be done in a prepared tune but you will need to disable the codes with a FAIL status and rewrite the to the ECU. In the diagnostic manager simply uncheck the codes you wish to disable then resave and rewrite.

Current interfaces are not transferrable although we will be looking into it in the future.

I Know this is solved but it is important to note that the red wire on your bike-side harness is not power. You would not expect to get voltage from it normally but providing voltage to this wire by crossing it to yellow or orange should prevent the…

I will have my dev team look into this further but i need some more info.. please: 1) attempt to write your ecu with the feature turned on (2015 R1 Auto-blipper Kit is fine for 2015-17) 2) If the write fails "verifying ECU image" save the file as a …

What bike are you working with?

The older yamaha models included an anti-tampering function in the throttle-by-wire processor. Setting 'ETV bypass FI Limit' to true prevents the Throttle-by-wire processor from entering fail-safe mode when it detects modified throttle maps. In gen…

please try again with today's update 2.5.5.0 we fixed a problem where poor internet connection could cause that behavior..

please email over a copy of the PC map and .ftm you are using.., I would like to see if our dev team can reproduce this.
-
https://forum.ftecu.com/discussion/comment/337#Comment_337 That is expected behavior. With older versions the user was responsible for making sure the file they had open and the file the that was in the ECU matched. otherwise you would be reading tr…

You would get that same message if it were a bad ground... Respectfully, I would like to better troubleshoot the issue before throwing money at it, especially considering every single unit gets tested here in the last production step. Just to be cle…

https://forum.ftecu.com/discussion/comment/299#Comment_299 The 2018 r1 doesn't have a auto-blipper option in the flash options. if you are having an issue enabling auto-blipper option in a 2018 BX4-8591A-30 you are certainly using the wrong file.

The friendly error message bug is in our pending update.. thanks for the report

Using PCV import is not recommended for just that reason.. it has always meant to be a coarse import to help people get closer when moving away from an older piggy-back style tuner. By the way, that same issue impacts the normal operation of a piggy…
