Cant enable Autoblipper on R1(2017)

hw1987@gmail.comhw1987@gmail.com Posts: 2Verified User

I purchased "R1 Auto-Blipper Clutchless Downshifting Kit" and installed it.

then Register a Paid Feature Activation Code on my ECU License.

To enable QS/Auto-Blipper, I checked TRUE on FTECU and flash my ecu.

But the error "Fail Error: Invalid ECU image ..." was occur and cant run the engine.

How can I use Autoblipper on my R1(2017)?

The 2018 r1 doesn't have a auto-blipper option in the flash options. if you are having an issue enabling auto-blipper option in a 2018 BX4-8591A-30 you are certainly using the wrong file.

Please check carefully to make sure that the file you are using to flash on your R1 is the correct file. The reason for the "invalid ECU image" is because the file you are attempting to flash doesn't correctly match your bike's ECU.

    Thank you for reply.

I tried some times to flash my ECU, but did not succeed.

I can flash ECU correctly with autoblipper disabled.

But to enable, flash is failed.

I worried that my license for autoblipper shows "2015" R1 Auto-Blipper Kit. Is this OK to my R1 2017?

of course i purchased blipperkit for "2017" and register activation code that include in kit.

I will have my dev team look into this further but i need some more info..

    please:

    1) attempt to write your ecu with the feature turned on (2015 R1 Auto-blipper Kit is fine for 2015-17)

    2) If the write fails "verifying ECU image" save the file as a new file name (the write processes modifys the file contents)

    3) email the new file to support@ftecu.com
