Per cyl fuel maps or average all. TPS vs RPM @ WOT

Do tuners adjust per cylinder on fuel maps or do the average across the 4?

There seems to be a lot of difference in inner and outer cylinder fueling.

I figure a % across all 4 cylinders at the needed rpm would be the closest so it would keep the differentiate the same in all 4 cylinders without installing 4 EGT sensors in the header.

Thoughts?

I depends on how much time you want to invest in your tune.

You absolutely can make gains of maybe a percent or two by getting the cylinder specific stuff just right but it takes quite a bit of time to do and many tuning shops cant spend that kind of time on the dyno and still make money.

my approach would be to use the same map in all cylinders if you have a highly modified engine then once it is close enough that it runs without misfire you could use Activetune and a header with a bung in each down-tube to get the cylinder offsets right.

Activetune supports tuning any single cylinder are all for precisely this reason.
