Ok, good for you! But this is the link to the test I was talking about, which I think you stated "all test were good", so this is for anyone reading this later: https://forum.ftecu.com/discussion/319/attention-hardware-test-for-6-pin-bike-side-harne…

The answer I was given is NO!

How about just flashing the one you want, then you will know.

Look for the diagnostic steps where you place a paperclip in the harness, to see if the wiring is still good. Mine did same, R1M tho, by reseating all the wires in the bigger ECU connector my issues went away. I'll try and find them for you..

How was this fixed?

My understanding, from what I was told of FT ECU support via phone, is that you ride the way you would ride for awhile, then without turning your bike off, you connect the computer and USB plug to the ECU. Open Tuning Suite and click DEVICE then ACT…

I retract what I said above, I was not fully awake. If you are stating that you DO NOT HAVE A FTECU AutoBlipper, then your stock Yamaha AutoBlipper will not be affected, by flashing the unrestricted mode to your ECU (IMPORTANT WARNING - BE SURE TO O…

There is no need for license resets, they changed it on the server side, resets are automatic, since over a month now. If you are having a problem, try uninstalling everything and redownliading files and try again. If that don't work call ftecu tech…

Try going through these diagnostic steps; https://forum.ftecu.com/discussion/416/attention-hardware-test-for-4-pin-bike-side-harness#latest Hope this helps.

You should just be able to plug the new one in and go, with no other ECU changes, if it was working at all, before it didn't work at the track. Hope this helps.
-
You will need to buy a license ($85) for the auto blipper (which, I believe, is the QS, and not two separate things), unless you can see that it is already enabled in the FT ECU Tuning Software. Hope this helps.

I had same problem and the wires I placed in ecu harness connector ended up not being seated all the way down causing that error. Also the red/green wire was dislodged. So if it's bike side harness you installed take it all apart and check everythin…

Looks like nobody got back to you on this. But, my R1M came with a FTecu on it, so I bought the setup, and found myself in your position. Only way around it is to flash over it with the settings you want, by either you and a bench or bike side harne…

Anyone ever answer this?

FAULT CODE 45 FIXED!!! In following the fault code no. 45 diagnostic steps from the service manual. I found a loose wire Red-Green that goes from Big Connector on ECU to Backup Fuse up by left Light. It was not seated all the way into the Big Connec…

After 800 miles I am once again getting same problem, but on new ecu, which is fault code 45 "Malfunction in ECU internal circuit ( power source self cut off does not work" 2nd ECU to go into limp mode and not clear fault code 45. So frustrating!!!

https://forum.ftecu.com/discussion/comment/5122#Comment_5122 Answered by a phone call, you have to pay for autoblipper activation code when you move it to another ECU, even if it's replacing your old ECU.

You ever get this fixed?
-
BTW Flashing using Windows 10 pro on a dual boot Valve Steam Deck
-
Did you get this sorted out?
-
How do you clear the error code from dash?
-
curious as to what the fix was?

I was having this same problem, with a phone call to support one of the guys had me re-seat all the wires I had added, including the ones surrounding them. This allowed me to finally write the file to ECU.

I also am having this issue, my bike was flash tuned by a previous owner, and upon purchasing an ftecu tech said getting new ftecu kit and USB cable would be all I need, even though it was registered to a previous owner. I wrote the email address th…
