Please check your bike-side harness for voltage. Pull off the protective cap, and use a voltmeter to check these combinations: With key/ignition to ON, Orange wire to a GND should read 5V, Yellow wire to a GND should read 5V, Red wire to a GND shoul…

Please refer to this video for checking the sensor function for Auto-Blipper/Quickshift sensors: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QgrdBm-EjCo

You can import your PCV map into the PCV Import feature in either the R1 stock or unrestricted files, and have access to a host of previously inaccessible features. To tell you truth though, any PCV map is a band-aid measure at best, because the PCV…

There is some sort of issue with the restricted file you purchased from your tuner. We're looking into it.
-
Can you try the stock XSR700 file from the tuning suite to see how that turns out?
-
Please give us your ECU part number, and file number you are attempting to flash.

"I tried tapping in to the positive and negative poles on the sensor side and activating the switch but nothing happens (open loop and resistance test)." Need some elaboration on this please. How were you "activating" the switch? When you say "nothi…

Armin, Please record a data session with the engine running and the sensor out of the exhaust (replaced by a plug). Do the calibration test with open air, and then the Bic lighter. We need to see the data from that test. Thanks.

Fail no response means that there is a hardware issue, the software is pinging the ECU but not getting any response. Please check all your connections carefully. You can use the hardware test in the software. Go to Help > Test Interface > Inputs Don…

Armin, check your email please.

Use the unrestricted file for your bike, that will be a very good starting point. Using PC maps is a worse case starting point, because it assumes the fuel mass will be constant per any given RPM and TPS which is flawed as the ecu also varies fuel …

https://forum.ftecu.com/discussion/182/cant-enable-autoblipper-on-r1-2017 Please check carefully to make sure that the file you are using to flash on your R1 is the correct file. The reason for the "invalid ECU image" is because the file you are att…

Click yes on the message window where it asks if you want to overwrite the ECU. Then please send a screenshot to us of whatever error message comes up.

Hi Wayne, Sent you an email. Thanks, Kent

Unfortunately that is a problem with that particular model that is a Kawasaki issue, nothing we can do about at the moment. Changing the sprockets throws off the speedometer, which would indicate that it uses a sprocket sensor in addition to a rear …

Yes, but if he's comparing a stock 2008 GSXR600 file with an unrestricted file of the same year/model, it should display the message box showing the changes.

I have emailed the reset file to you. Please flash that file first before flashing the correct FT file. Thanks, Kent

I think he meant that he re-installed the harness as part of the ECU connection/flash process. Once you register a harness to an account, it's permanent. Please close down the software, check your task manager to make sure nothing from it is runnin…

Please uninstall the software, check task manager to make sure nothing from the software is running in the background, then restart your computer. Then reinstall software and try again please.

When right-clicking to compare 1 and compare 2, you should get this message box popup: https://forum.ftecu.com/uploads/771/OBQBG90GFAJ8.png This shows any changes. Currently I'm not having any problems with this message box showing up.

You should be able to import PC maps on Japan 2015 MT-09 file, we have no problem with accessing that file section.
-
Do you have any modifications to your bike? Both stock and unrestricted maps should have all adjustments already done for each cylinder.
-
You can't read (click on) anything yet because you haven't flashed a file into the ECU yet. With the Yamaha ECUs, you need to write (flash) into the ECU first before you can do anything. You need to pick the correct file (either stock or unrestricte…

If the ECU's part number is not an exact match for any on the list, then no, you cannot use another map.

Not really sure what you mean here. We are able to compare all maps, TPS, MAP, sec inj, etc., without any issues.
