When you hook up your bench flashing kit to the ECU, you must flash a file onto the ECU in order to use the tuning suite functions. Pick a file (make sure it matches your ECU part number) and click on Device>Write. Click "OK" when you see the prompt…

You made no other changes other than the US file flash with the immobilizer disabled?

What is the exact file that you are using?

https://forum.ftecu.com/discussion/comment/577#Comment_577 You cannot have two licenses on the same ECU. Basically, if you want to keep the settings from the previous license, then you will have to contact that person to arrange a license transfer. …

On the Graves file, you have to option to disable the EXUP valve. Once you set that to DISABLE and flash that into your ECU, that should get rid of the error code.

Sorry, made a mistake, the kill switch position doesn't matter.
-
Sorry, as stated in the license page, all single and multi-pack license purchases are non-refundable. And we cannot reset a license that is not in crashed status.

On the Graves map, did you set the EXUP valve to DISABLE and flash that into your ECU? The check engine light locks you out of the dash. Once the code is cleared full dash functionality comes back.

The ignition table y axis is TPS, the acceleration enrichment table y axis is rate of throttle opening.

Yes.

If it wasn't flashed with our software, then there's no way to save the existing configuration because our software will overwrite any software that's on there due to security protocols. If it was flashed with our software, has the previous owner tr…

Try looking at some of the third party files in our database. You can't make any changes to them, but their fueling might be better suited for your application. Using the stock file with a cat-delete exhaust likely runs lean, so probably the reason …

What Ride Mode did you have your R1 set at? It had overly aggressive throttle response in all modes? You might try setting the Disable Accel Retard Control to "true". The stock ECU retards the ignition timing approx 200ms in an effort to smooth out …

You will have to contact your local Yamaha distributor for the YEC racing harness, as we no longer assemble our own racing wire harness. You can purchase a flash license separately, simply go to your account and click on Licenses.

If you are sure that the QSS is enabled when you flashed the file, you should try swapping the connectors just to see if that works.

https://forum.ftecu.com/discussion/comment/543#Comment_543 Price for auto-blip license is the same no matter what bike/model.

No, as long as the flash has started, then the interrupted internet signal won't be enough to cause a non-running motorcycle.
-
So basically we are at the point where everything checks out, and the last flash you did was successful?

Kill switch needs to be on please.

Those are all acceptable input numbers. Key off/no power you're looking for 0,10,20, or 30. Key on/power you're looking for 6, 16, 26, or 36. Take the protective cover off of your bike-side harness, and turn key on. With a multimeter, jump the red a…

Go to the tuning software, select Help>Test Interface. Conduct a test with both key on and key off. Tell us what number you see in the parentheses in the Test Inputs.

You have a hardware issue that isn't allowing full communication with the ECU. Please check to make sure that the pins are inserted in the correct positions in the connector, that the pins are in the correct attitude (crimp facing upward) and fully …

That feature is because of the stock sensor. If a user has their shifter setup in a way that goes in the opposite direction (normally we'd say GP shift pattern, but if you're using that pattern and it's working fine, you're good to go), they can ena…

Please provide your ECU part number and the file you are attempting to flash. Also, are you using the bike-side or bench kit. Thanks.

The flash records that we see on our end suggest that you should carefully check the orange and red wires in your harness (i.e., coming loose, starting to pull out of the connector, etc.).

A license reset is not a cure-all for any and all issues encountered during an ECU flash. Only when there is a major writing error that results in the license being in an "attempted" state is it useful, and only then.
-
If you changed anything on the file you flashed into the ECU, it will ask if you want to save it into your software. So now whenever you open the tuning suite, it will be there on the file menu on the left. The unrestricted file usually has some cha…

You click yes, because you're assigning your license to the ECU.
