We have a special turbo file for the first ECU (2HC-00). However, it is a special feature that costs $100. If you have an account with us, we can create an invoice for it so that you can pay for it, as it is not available on our website. NOTE: It is…

What is your ECU part number? (not the GYTR ECU)
-
The stock O2 sensor is incapable of assisting the ECU in making fueling changes anywhere past very small throttle settings and very low rpm cruising speeds because it can only tell the ECU that the mixture is lean or rich, not by how much. Anywhere …
-
The GYTR turbo kit for the YXZ comes with its own ECU. You will use that for the kit, and you shouldn't have any problems.
-
Glad you were able to get it working. The problem with 3rd party restricted files is there's not much we can do with regards to troubleshooting because they are locked, and often the actual file number is deleted because someone renames the file.
-
In checking your flash history log, it appears you have a hardware issue that is causing the flash to fail. The reason the ECUs continue to work is because the flash was never performed. Please check your harnesses with a continuity tester.
-
Did you test the sensor?
-
Yes. It has been reset.

We need to look into this. I will get back to you when we find out asap.
-
You mean license #0B6B8787? It is in an attempted state due to connection problems during the flash. I will reset it for you.
-
Yes, you just need to make sure that the "US Harness Config" feature is set to FALSE. This is because the ignition sequence order is different between markets.
-
Unfortunately there was a database application crash last night that caused issues with some licenses. Your licenses have been reset, you should be good to go. Apologies for the issues.
-
What model is your bike? Did your QS work previously?
-
Yes, but it will be like you are flashing an ECU for the first time.
-
Unfortunately you cannot use a 2CR file with a BX4 ECU. However, Graves has a cat eliminator exhaust file for a BX4-10 ECU. Why not just use that?
-
You are using a restricted file. Are you sure you enabled your R features in the file when you flashed it?
-
You can go to the tuning database and compare the stock file for your model.
-
You can always try the unrestricted file that works with your ECU part number to see how that works. If you don't think it works as well as the PCV-migrated file, you can always go back.
-
We're checking into this.
-
Not at the moment, unfortunately.

The values on the ignition maps relate to ignition advance, but the numbers may not be actual, they could be relative based upon the software coding that Yamaha uses for those values. Moving this thread into the R6 section where it belongs. Please …
-
Not necessarily. There could be a myriad other reasons for additional ignition advance between markets.
-
Trying to find out about this, I will get back to you as soon as I find out.
-
You need to email us at sales@ftecu.com with the request so that we can create an invoice for you to pay for it separately.
-
They should have a reset flash file as far as I know.
-
You can only write one file into the ECU at a time. You can try importing the PC maps into an unrestricted file to see how that works first. Or you can try the straight unrestricted file without the PC maps imported.
-
Normally no, but because you have PC maps in the file, their values are different from the OEM/FTECU values, and the TPS numbers often cause the ECU to trigger an error code. We're seeing this happen often with users who have uploaded PC maps into a…

You can save any files you need, then just have the dealer reset the ECU to OEM stock form, then have them flash the update. Then you can go back and flash the ECU as if it was a brand new ECU.
