It is not an error, it asks you if you want to link it to your account. You have to link the USB Data Link cable to your account before you can write anything to any ECU.
-
https://forum.ftecu.com/discussion/comment/865#Comment_865 What do you mean "I realize I did it wrong"?
-
1010 N. Batavia St. Suite J Orange, CA 92967 Yes, safe to ship as long as you wrap it carefully and box it properly.
-
OK, I see that you edited your original posts. You need to send us the other ECU so that we can take a look at it please.
-
https://forum.ftecu.com/discussion/comment/859#Comment_859 I'm not sure what exactly you're referring to? Which file is this exactly please?
-
Yes, you can use one of them.
-
There is no activation code needed.

Did you download the Tuning Suite software? If so, open the Tuning Suite, and go to Device>Write, and it will ask you if you want to link the USB Data Link to your account.
-
So you purchased the bike with the FTECU harness and software? And it was already flashed with one of our files?
-
Yes, but did it ever work before with our flash and this setup that you have?
-
Yes, those two.
-
Did the DJ QS ever work with the FTECU software? Or it stopped working as soon as you flashed it?
-
You have two virgin licenses ready to use already on your account.
-
What pin are you connected to? Can you post photos of where it's connected? A QS harness would go a long way towards clearing this all up.
-
How are you connected to the harness? Do you have one of our QS harnesses?
-
You need to create an account with us on the site at ftecu.com, then insert your USB Data Link cable into your computer to link that cable to your account. We can then assign the licenses you purchased to your account.
-
Can you try with another ECU to see if there is a problem? If you can flash the other ECU without issue, you can send us the ECU that is apparently locked so we can go in there and correct it.
-
Perhaps try to reflash the file.
-
What do you have the sensor type set at?
-
OK, thanks, I will check into this and get back to you as soon as possible.
-
Do you have one of our ECU flash kits? You don't have a USB Data Link cable registered on our system, so we cannot assign the 3-pack of flash licenses you purchased.
-
Are you using bench flash kit or bike-side kit?
-
Did you enable the QS module in the flash file?
-
There was not. Our records show that only an Active Tune feature was ever assigned to that license.
-
Checking into this, will let you know.

-
If it is a Mitsubishi ECU, then yes. If not, then you will have to write (flash) it first before you can read the ECU.

We have files for the 2019 YXZ1000R in our database. The files in the database from Graves with the slip-on file are for a 2017 model. You should not use those because the ECU part numbers are totally different. Please flash a proper 2019 file into …

The cruise control on the FZ/MT-10 is VERY touchy with its hardware. There are multiple components that it uses to run the system, and if one of those components is out of adjustment, it triggers an error or inadvertent shutoff. The rear brake light…

That license shows up in the middle of the first page of your license history database. We only show an Active Tune feature on this license.
