The "Error no response" message means that you have a hardware connection problem that is preventing the software from communicating with the ECU. Are you using a bike-side harness (the harness that plugs into the ECU connector on your motorcycle)? …

There is a corruption in the PCV file you imported. Please get a new PCV file and import that.
-
It has been added to your account, as soon as you flash a compatible license it will attach to that license.

We are still in the process of development for the 2020 R1 files. Because the ECU is all-new, it is taking a lot of time and effort to put together. No timeline as of yet because of constant developments.

The B5C-8591A-10 ECU is not for the MT-09. That is the part number for the Tracer 900. We have the file for that ECU.
-
If you use the Unrestricted file, those codes are already disabled ("unchecked") in the Diagnostic Code Manager.
-
This looks like you are clicking the "Monitor" button. You need to click the "Read" button in order to read saved trim maps.
-
Your PCV file is likely corrupted. Please try a new PCV file and see if that helps.

The "diagnostic" feature in the Tuning Suite is not for ECU error codes; that feature is there to help with flash hardware troubleshooting. We've been told that some error codes will reset after riding the bike for some miles. But we'd suggest gett…

Have you run the hardware test in the sticky post?

Paid features like Active Tune and Auto-Blip cannot be transferred between licenses. You will need to purchase a new AT license ($85).
-
What is the error message that is being displayed? Have you run the hardware test that is in the forum sticky post?
-
The Type 7 QS harness simply plugs into the bike-side ECU harness connector.
-
Unlock the pins by pushing the two white plastic locking tabs on the top of the connector. Then get a very thin metal pick, and carefully push the pin out the back until you can see enough metal in the rear of the connector to grab and pull it out w…

What is the part number on your ECU? Please look at the sticker on top of the ECU itself to get this number. What is the file number you used?
-
You have a connection issue with the red wire on your bench harness. Please check it carefully.

https://forum.ftecu.com/discussion/comment/1579#Comment_1579 Did the Quickshifter work properly before? If so, did you change anything prior to this issue occurring?
-
You have the Active Tune kit installed, correct? With an activation code?
-
This is why we have this sticky post on the forum: https://forum.ftecu.com/discussion/165/extremely-important-please-double-check-that-you-are-attempting-to-flash-the-correct-file#latest

When you go to any flash kit for any bike on our site, each page has the ECU files that are available for that bike, plus instructions in case your file is not on the list: https://forum.ftecu.com/uploads/085/RXB4PTO6S20B.png

This has been reconciled according to your email. Please follow the software prompts carefully; i.e., when the prompt asks you to disconnect power or turn key off, perform that task first, then click OK. Do not click OK and then perform the task, b…

The Type 1 QS harness is intended for use with bikes that do not have the FTECU Bike-side flashing harness installed. You need the Type 7 QS harness, which is made for bikes with the bike-side flashing harness installed.

Launch control with the R6 is only available with the Race Team Package.

If you absolutely sure that the kill time of 1-2 seconds is at all rpm and in all gears, try reducing the values in each cell by 5, flash that into your ECU, and see how it feels.
-
Unfortunately no, as Active Tune requires a lot of work to design and implement into a file. The older models won't have enough ROI to be supported.
-
What Jason meant was to make adjustments to your QS timing table using the map in the photo...not use the map shown in the photo, because those settings are stock settings. Try reducing the timing in the particular areas where it needs it.
-
Did you try the latest suggestions from Jason?
-
We do not have a reset file for that ECU part number.
-
Use the 13S-8591A-60 (Generic) file, and disable the "US Harness Config" feature in the ECU settings, then flash that file.

There shouldn't be that much of a difference between the two. Only if you're interested in squeezing out that last one hp will you need to go to a dyno tune.
