Closed loop with ActiveTune?

KnasseKnasse Posts: 2Verified User

Hi there, I'm new to this forum, and have just installed the ftecu ActiveTune kit on my Tracer 900.

I've only made a few rides followed by flashing the learned trims, and each time the improvement has been really noticeable, with really smooth throttle control and no more stuttering as was the case with stock flash and O2 sensor 😊

I just wonder - for Live Correction to work, should Closed Loop be enabled or disabled? I guess if it's disabled the ECU may ignore the signal from the AT lambda controller, no?

Thanks - Knasse

    Hi,

That setting should not matter because the ActiveTune is supposed to override whatever it's set to. Do you currently have it enabled or disabled?

    Thanks,

    Hi Jason,

    Thanks for the quick answer.

It's currently disabled. I just wondered if I needed to enable it for live correction to actually work - good to know I don't have to worry about it :)

    Thanks, Knasse

    Hi,

Ok just leave it disabled then and the ActiveTune will do what it needs to!

    Thanks,

    Jason A.
