injector decel cut off kills catalyst

teDorteDor Posts: 10Verified User

Hello, i used the unrestricted tune for my 2020gsx r 1000 r (EU / Germany) after it killed my catalyst two times in a row i found the information that injector decel cut off burns the catalyst. so before i kill the third pipe i ask now. Is the unrestricted tune only for full exhaust without catalyst? What settings must use? best regards

    Hi,

The Unrestricted file is made for a bike with a full exhaust system.

    Thanks,

    Jason A.

As I remember no fueling changes in unrestricted vs stock map.

On YT search Otto Leirer videos talking in german about CAT faults on this byke.

Only disabling O2 sensor may have some influence on CAT as fuelling is somehow fixed since ECU is not altering anything.

However you can keep O2 enabled.
