Had the same issue. As soon as I went pass the minimum RPM for QS engaging, the engine would sometimes cut, or QS would not engage if I did not use first the clutch to change gear. It was only happening after pressure washing, so I just put some silicone near the electrical connection of the QS to seal it. Seems have fixed the issue.
Hi,
Please run this test on your QS sensor: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QgrdBm-EjCo&t=23s
I did that test (red wire connection, for push) and I did not get connection unless shifter was pushed up (upshift motion).
I disconnected the QS in the meantime and it doesn't do the random cut. Only does the random cut when I have the QS connected.
