Reading ECU

Hi

I bought a new laptop, reinstalled ftecu and logged in. I am now trying to read my ECU from side harness but getting the following messages.

Failed to connect to ECU

This ECU type is not natively readable

Be aware that read attempts will fail with this ecu type unless this ecu has already been flashed with your account.

I have carried out the process correctly of turning off/on etc as prompted.

I have flashed the ecu, and have the autoblipper and active tune modules also. This was all carried out in 2017 by myself. The ftecu link light is green, however the listed ecu window is showing 2018 Yamaha (US) and licence number. My bike is a 2016 EU model? not sure if that has been changed somewhere?

Also I have my original flashed file still as i made copy from my old laptop so that is correct too. Is it a case of reregistering ecu now im on a new laptop?

Please could you help me get the ecu connected again.

If you still have the original file, try flashing that into the ECU first.
