About the relationship between [TPS vs RPM] and [MAP vs RPM]

aaaaaa Posts: 15Verified User

Hello.

I am confused.

[TPS map = high load. MAP map = low load]

Is the above explanation correct?

Are there clear switching conditions?

Smoothness is important to me.

I drive slowly at 0-60 km / h. At that time it is 2000~3000 RPM. Which map should I adjust at this point?

When should you adjust the TPS Map?

    Hi,

Here is a short read to help understand a MAP sensor better: https://www.1aauto.com/content/articles/what-does-a-map-sensor-do-what-is-it

Most of your fuel tuning you can do in your TPS vs RPM and you will see the biggest changes there.

Part throttle low RPM you can adjust your MAP vs RPM.

I always suggest starting with TPS vs RPM and making any fine adjustments with your MAP vs RPM.

    Thanks,

    Jason A.

    I understand a little

    When weakening the engine brake.

Idling negative suction pressure is 29.8Kpa.

    Shuld rich the above?

    Or a TPS table?

    Hi,

The MT07 not being throttle by wire makes it difficult to adjust engine braking.

If the bike is running lean or rich you want to adjust the fuel table values to get to your desired AFR.

    Thanks,

    Jason A.
