Yamaha R6 2017, FTecu configuration. I am not an expert! HELP

Hello everyone!

First of all I want to say thank you to the FTecu Support (Kent) !

I am trying to understand the FTecu software and flash it with the correct settings.

I don't have a lot mods on my bike, I have only the Akrapovic Header and the Akrapovic Slip on (Exup valve).

I downloaded the unrestricted file on FTECU software.

Do I need disable the AIS ? Do I need to put the Exhaust Smog Block off plate?

Also I would like to add a BMC filter ....any advice will be appreciated!

    Hi,

    I would personally recommend disabling your AIS and either getting block off plates or routing the two openings so no air can pass through. It will make a difference using an almost full exhaust system or even a stock system.

    You can always try adding a Power Commander map to the file to see if that helps your fueling for your exhaust and air filter setup.
