We have discovered a problem with a batch of the 4-pin 4P_BNHA_01 bench harnesses used in the Bench Flash kit for the YXZ1000R fuel injection ECU (not the Bench Flash kit for the Transmission ECU). Some of them were fitted with an incorrect ECU connector that prevents the harness being inserted into the correct port on the ECU. If you are encountering flash issues (basically, your FTECU tuning suite is not able to connect to the ECU and shows a "Fail: No Response" error message), please check the main connector block on your bench harness. On the bottom, the connector should have TWO slots as shown on the connector on the right in the photo below:
If your bench harness has the connector on the left with a single groove, please send us an email at sales@ftecu.com and we will replace it free of charge. Again, this is only for the 4P_BNKT_01 bench flash kit used for the Yamaha YXZ1000R fuel injection ECU.
