I cannot download FTECU software onto my windows 10 laptop I keep getting a message saying software is infected with MALWARE

Do you still need assistance with this? In case you do i will copy the information from the forum...
There is no virus with our software but your antivirus is flagging it as one so you will need to make an exception to this software in Microsoft defender. I will also include other things you can try but it comes down to your antivirus protection and figuring out how to get the computer to accept it. Here are some things that may help but there are different antivirus protection on different computers.
*If the software doesn’t open then there is a problem with Microsoft defender
- You will want to add our software as an exception
*If the software won’t download that’s a problem with the browser
- You can try using a different browser such as firefox, edge or chrome
*If the software was already installed but now won’t open then it may need an update. Make sure to uninstall the previous version then re-install the current version.
Another thing to try would be, you can go to settings> privacy and security> windows security> open windows security> protection history> and then there should be a box with a drop down for our software where you can allow it to download.
If you ever get a prompt or see anything to "mark as safe", “run anyway”, “Allow” or "keep" for our software make sure to do that.
Having the same issue wont open up freezes at the login screen once I input the username and password. Im on parallels and iMac 2025
on windows 11 tried all those steps you mentioned
