If you are working with an ECU that already has an existing FTECU flash on it then there are some things to be aware of...
- Overwriting the existing flash on it will cause loss of the tune and flash file that was on the ECU. (Unless you read the ECU first and save the file)
- A new license will be used (If you have a virgin license available or it will ask if you wish to purchase a new license) and the license that was assigned to the ECU originally will be lost and is unrecoverable.
- Any and ALL extra paid features such as Autoblip, Quickshift, and Activetune will be lost and you will be required to purchase them again for the new license.
*If you are unsure about the process after read this while you're trying to flash an ECU please email us before attempting a new flash at sales@ftecu.com*
