17 Yamaha R6 cuts TC & QS after race starts

I recently purchased an ABS Delete 2 for my rider who was having some issues on his R6. The bike is producing identical results after replacing an original Delete, so I was curious if you had any suggestions on what could be the cause. Its a '17 R6 with a full FT electronics suite.

When the rider does a race start, revs up clutch out and off, the bike will be fine for a corner or two and then the TC light will illuminate and the QS will cease function. If he rides without a start, the bike will not have any issues at all and the QS & TC will function the full session.
