Quickshifter shift rod

I need ideas to make the shift rod shorter. I used the shortest rod and cut all the segments off of it,

but it is still too long without rotating the shift knuckle 90 degrees to be almost parallel with the the shift rod. If this isn't going to cause any issues down the road then disregard. Thanks for any tips

Hi,

That is the shortest shift rod we currently have. You could try shortening the stud or cutting more into the rod if you would like, may be a bit difficult and risky. As long as you are able to comfortably shift up and down properly there should not be a problem.
