FTECU Cable - Adapter / Chipset type?

Hi,

What kind of chipset is utilized in the FTECU USB cable? There's a lot of diagnostic software out there for maintenance and repairs. It would be very useful for knowing which software might be compatible.

    Our cable is designed for use with our FTECU Tuning Suite only.

    Can you still tell me what chipset is used? I figured out it's an FTDI chipset. I'm guessing the FT232

    they will never tell you that then you can pirate and these guys are here to make money. Cant fault them for protecting their intellectual property.
