    I believe we solved this over the phone, but I will reply here in case others find this helpful. You were starting with everything connected to the ecu and I had you unplug the bench harness from the ecu and then try the write process which then prompted you to connect then disconnect and connect again. When writing please start with the ecu not powered up, the system will prompt you to connect and power up when necessary.

    I am getting the same thing. Key on or off. Harness plugged in or unplugged then connected it doesn't seem to matter.

    Check the forums for bike side harness test. Your harness is not wired properly or one or more of the pins are not making contact to the pins of the ecu when plugged in.
