stp fuel compensation and ignition timing

dropagear91@outlook.comdropagear91@outlook.com Posts: 1Verified User

can map vs rpm compensate for secondary throttles opening sooner or are adjustments to tps vs rpm necessary to maintain proper afr?

fz8 is designed to run on 87 octane at 12-1 compression, 2007 r6 is designed to run on 91+ at 12.8-1 compression. i run only 92 non ethanol. with a lower compression ratio and larger combustion chambers "which require more ignition timing" than an r6, would it be safe to mimic the r6 ignition timing map?

    Hi,

For your application I would suggest taking your bike in its setup to an experienced tuner to help you out and be safe.

    Regards.
