Ground connection for 6-Pin Bike Side Harness Type 12 bike side harness

Hi

Could you please tell me for 6-Pin Bike Side Harness Type 12 bike side harness ( GSXR 1000 2017 and up) can the ground eyelet be connected directly to the negative terminal on the battery or for the bike side harness to fucntion properly it must be connected to chassis ground point/location?

    Hi,

    Any type of solid ground connection works just fine. That can be on the chassis or on the negative battery terminal.
