Hello, do I need to purchase a license for the files written in the user shared area?

    Why do I need to buy many licenses for this kit. I purchased a 2020 R6 license for the first time and then purchased an unlimited file license again. Now, do I purchase a license for the files written in the user shared area again? Since it is called a shared area, why buy a license? How many licenses need to be purchased?

    Hi,

    You only need to buy one license per ECU. If you are flashing additional ECU's you need a new license.

    If you do not follow software prompts correctly the system may think you are trying to flash a new ECU and request a new license. If this is the case exit out and start your process over again. It is important to have a good internet connection and follow the software prompts.
