Hello.
Why are there so many IGN tables?
What is each role? (#0~#17
)

Hi,
If you look at your Map Index it will let you select whatever map you want for a certain gear in each cylinder.
Thanks,
Jason A.
I overlooked the map index.
Sorry
Thank you Jason
What/Where is this map index?found itHi
I want to tune the ignition tables manually based on the stock tables as I was not happy about the results I got after using the "unrestricted" file.
I really need clear any doubt about the (Cylinder/Gear) map index before I start.
The map index (Cylinder/Gear) in the application shows:
Cylinder 1
Gear #1 #2 #3 #4 #5 #6
Map #1 #2 #3 #4 #5 #6
Cylinder 2
Gear #1 #2 #3 #4 #5 #6
Map #7 #8 #9 #10 #11 #12
Is it correct that Maps: 0 13 14 15 16 17 is not in use?
When I look at the ignition maps from the "stock" file i see that:
Map 1, 2 are similar
Map 4, 5, 6 are equal
Map 7, 8 are equal
Map 10, 11 are similar and similar to 12,13,14,15,16,17 (that also are equal)
Map 0, 3, 9 are misfits!
I suspect the mapping (Cylinder/Gear) is wrong as this shows a lack of consistency between Cyl 1 and Cyl 2 based on the values in the timing tables.
Based on the values and similarities in the maps I would guess the mapping (Cylinder/Gear) could be:
Cyl 1+2 (Cold engine?)
Gear #1 #2 #3 #4 #5 #6
Map #0 #3 #6 #9 #12 #15
Cyl 1
Gear #1 #2 #3 #4 #5 #6
Map #1 #4 #7 #10 #13 #16
Cyl 2
Gear #1 #2 #3 #4 #5 #6
Map #2 #5 #8 #11 #14 #17
I could be wrong and this is very different from the (Cylinder/Gear) map index in the application.
Has anyone figured this out?
Hi,
You are correct in saying maps 0 13 14 15 16 17 are not in use the way that is setup. Now you can change this though. If you like you can make them all run the same IGN map, it's completely customizable.
The map it uses is the exact number listed not a different number. If you don't seem to like the map its using simply set it to use a different map, or change the map itself, or both!
Thanks,
Jason A.
