2015 r1 stock o2 sensors

The first step in the instructions say remove the stock o2 sensors of the bike. My question is does this mean to disconnect the o2 sensors and leave them on the bike or fully remove the o2 sensors from the exhaust. If so then why did the kit not include anything to block the stock o2 sensor bungs?.

If your aftermarket exhaust system didn't come with a plug, then leave the one sensor in with the harness disconnected. Most exhaust manufacturers either include or sell them separately.
