yamaha r1s 2016 Fail:Checking FWE

Hi,

I've been trying to flash my ECU for the last two weeks, but each time I try I get to the point of Status: Fail:Checking FWE ...

After closing the dialogue box and retrying, it stops at Status: Requesting ECU ID ... No Registered ECU found. Would you like to purchase a new license for this ECU?

I'm not sure what the cause of this is, but I have reinstalled the software and that didn't fix anything.

    You have an issue with your red wire lead on your harness. Please check it carefully, make sure that it is fully inserted into the connector, and that no wires leading to the pin are frayed.
