Failed initial write attempt (lost internet for a split second). Now, software cannot find the registered license. Please help.

The license was in an attempted state (crashed) so it has been reset.

Having a similar issue except everything worked fine for my previous flash but now it said invalid lisence.
Hi,
Your license shows as confirmed still. If you are trying to flash the same ECU still then you most likely have a hardware connection issue or aren't following the prompts correctly when flashing.

Your flashing issue was corrected, yes? We spoke on the phone.
Same issue ECU not found everytime I try to write. Status "flash init" please help It was working already then this happened.

Hi got an “flash init” again and no ecu registered found. Don’t know what im doing wrong it was working just fine before. Should I flash the ecu with unrestricted map without enabling auto blipper and activetune first?

Hi,
I reset your license again. Do me a favor and flash without those enabled then if that goes through enable one at a time and reflash. This way we could better rule out what could be causing the problem.

Could I please get my license reset also for travisgilbert@mac.com , for my 2020 R6.
I did as instructed it stop at 10% on the first try then 2nd time it finish to 100% but still says no ECU found. Should I try flashing using the stock map first?
btw writing to ecu would finish up to 100% then it would verify and thats where it would say no ecu found. What I notice is that even if it says write error no ecu, it actually flashed the ecu since the fan temp activation was changed. I will also try to flash on a windows laptop been using virtualbox to flash on a mac and since the osx update the problem started.
I had this problem as well, it finished to 100%, then when to verify and it gave the error.
I tried writing it again but now it asks me to buy a new license.
I wonder if the ecu was correctly flashed, since it went all the day to 100%... it should work, right?
(also using Mac with virtual windows, but I did not updated osx)

got mine to finally work wired the laptop to the router so I guess it was the wifi that’s causing the problem. The only trouble is I had to get a 30ft cable just so I could connect the laptop.lol
Mine was already wired.
there are too many people complaining about a error after 100%, it can´t be a coincidence.
In the last years I have flashed almost 100 ecu with a cellphone sharing data to the laptop via hotspot no problems.
Only recently I started having trouble..
Try also turning off the firewall I did that as well when I flashed the ecu.

Yes me too, been using paralels desktop with a W10 machine on my iMac.
My router has a firewall, but no other program has trouble with it.
I think I have been locked out of my licence. Can it be reset? I am getting the no registered ecu message when I try to flash.

Are you using a bike side harness? The license system has a recovery now. When it says no registered ECU or no ECU found that is a hardware issue and we should test the harnesses. Also if you get that message it is a good idea to restart the software.
