Here is a list of available bike-side flashing harnesses needed for the Yamaha xsr-900 (all xsr-900 flashing kits use a 6-pin DataLink):
6-pin Bike Side Harness Type 11 - 2016-2018 Yamaha XSR 900
(also works for: 2015-2018 Yamaha FJ-09 and 2014-2018 Yamaha FZ/MT-09 and 2018-2019 Yamaha Tracer 900 GT)
**Note: Please carefully select all bench and bike-side harnesses and make certain they work for your bike/ECU before flashing**

Hi there, so I havea 16 fz09 everything has been perfevt untill recently and nothing has changed for some time. Just recently i did a "live monitor" saved the file and the wrote it to the ecu. I thought that this would help improve the auto tune accuracy. Then riding to work i noticed a type of a surge not a rough surge but noticeable when holding a steady throttle at low and high speeds. So i tried re flashing with the original fz09 unrestricted file and it is still doing the same. Also the idle seems a little unstable
Thanks for any help
Please give us more details on your procedure for saving the live monitor trims and saving/writing that file to your ECU.
I've been trying to update some settings and write the ECU but keep getting an error message stating, "No registered ECU found...." Is there something I should be doing differently?
So after a few more tries, the ecu is now recognized, but a minute or two into the Write sequence I get a message that reads, "Status: Fail:Analyzing Variables..."
Hi,
I see you successfully flashed the ECU yesterday. Are you good to go now?
Thanks,
Jason A.

I am also getting the surge. What ive done and I hope it makes sence is hook up bike side harness use my last flash turn off auto tune make sure live monitor is on flash go take a short ride come back leave key on hook back to harness ot tells me suggested trims save flash then ise that saved flash to turn auto tune back on and flash. I've done it a few times now and I still get the surge like hellmanman said.
