2019 YXZ1000r SS SE - Error: no init response - bench flash kit

Trying to flash my ecu with the bench flashing kit, all plugged in all powered up I get this.

If I try and flash it I get this code

I have tested power, have 12v going to the ECU harness plug. Continuity is good on all wires thru the plug wiring. I'm taking a guess that this high dollar USB interface cable is junk straight out of the box? Or am I missing something here?

We need your part number for your ECU please. The early YXZ1000Rs had a different processor than the later model units.
