mt07 "fail response"

hi.so im not sure why this error comes up but after i plug the ftecu in and load new maps etc,it doesnt seem to recognise the ecu?? could it be the code for my bike ended in -70 and i selected one that ended in -50 because thats closest? i did everything it said...remove harness or key off. etc etc. then fail response...

please help

Fail No Response means that there is a hardware problem between the ECU and the software, it's not able to communicate with the ECU. Please check all your connections very carefully to ensure complete and positive connection. Check the ground, make sure that it is on a clean metal-to-metal connection, this is the most common issue with the Yamaha MT07.
