in GSXR 600

I cannot reliably connect to my bikes ECU. There is no rhyme or reason for it that I can tell, but I have had trouble connecting to the ECU in the past. I keep trying the same things over and over, and eventually it will connect. Is this a computer issue? An ECU issue? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    I have concluded it is a driver issue within my computer, and I have taken steps to fix it. But now I run into this hurdle:

    I have re-downloaded the software, without luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
