Flashing a Bike Multiple Times

If you are flashing a tune to a bike and are attempting to flash several times (to make map or other adjustments) and not getting the results you're looking for, there may be a simple fix.

When you connect and startup the FTecu Tuning Suite Software, the software is assuming that you are connecting to the bike with the key in the off position. If you flash the ECU and attempt to flash it again without power cycling the bike the software will not apply the flash correctly and may cause unforeseen errors.

The only exception to this is if you are flashing an Active-Tune license the bike needs to be powered on but not running.

This simple step will help solve 95% of issue we see when flashing multiple times.
